The willpower diet revisited
An update:
I've lost 13 lbs. Now that my stomach has shrunk a bit the diet has become very easy. The only remaining issue is that if I go to bed very hungry, my body will sometimes wake me up at 3 AM, knowing that I lack the willpower to keep from shoveling food in my mouth at that time. But generally, this will only happen on a day when I've ingested LESS than 1500 calories, so it's not that bad.
I've actually begun increasing my intake recently to around 1800 calories, and simultaneously increasing my exercise regimen. I began to worry that continued weight loss at this rate would result in the loss of muscle, and I am hoping to prevent that.
I now weigh 183 lbs, my lowest since reaching adulthood.
