I'm really having trouble controlling the ODS
When I read all these news stories about how Obama is pushing for cuts in the federal budget. What Kafkaesque world do we live in? Obama sends in a budget increase of 81 billion dollars (you'll find that fact way down in the story, if at all) and then he puts this sly little appendix on that asks Congress to cut 17 billion dollars from existing programs (which will never happen). And the headline says OBAMA WANTS BUDGET CUTS.
At least some of the stories make mention of the fact that 17 billion is one half of one percent of his 3.6 trillion dollar budget.
But in a sane world, the headline would read something like OBAMA BUDGET 3.6 TRILLION; DEFICIT TO SKYROCKET!
Also, I'm really pissed that thanks to fear of gun regulation, everyones bought up all the 45 ammo and I can't get my hands on any. I think the fears are unwarranted, myself, as Obama is far too busy lording it over captains of industry to worry about us gun nuts.
UPDATE: Oh, I get it now. He told the reporters to write it that way.
