If only every South American country could be a banana republic
That is surely what Obama believes, as he condemns the "coup" in Honduras along with Hugo Chavez. Where it takes him days to even express strong dissatisfaction with the Iranian Mullahs sham of an election and subsequent brutal crackdown, he wastes no time in condemning the Supreme Court and military of Honduras for forcibly deposing their president. A president who, employing the same thuggish tactics immortalized by Chavez, was about to rewrite his countries constitution in violation of an express order from the supreme court. His rewrite would make him president for life, and allow him whatever further rewrites he desires. The supreme court lawfully ordered him deposed. So, adherence to constitutional law is obviously anathema to Obama (and the slavish media who disgustingly tow the same line, incorrectly referring to this as a "coup" - on cue from Castro). Obama and the media finally found a foreign nation that they can pass negative judgement on - one trying to act lawfully and escape the cycle of tin-pot dictatorships.
